Pre-order items are not currently in stock.

Purchasing a pre-order item means you are reserving the fabric (or other item) by paying up-front before Trapunto receives the fabric from the supplier.

Pre-order listings have an expected arrival date, but it can change which is out of our control. We will update any changes as information becomes available.

When a pre-order arrives, orders will be cut and shipped immediately. Placing a pre-order promises you will get your fabric before anyone else.

If you place a pre-order with in-stock items, we will hold your order until the pre-order items arrive. 

If you would like the in-stock items to be shipped right away, instead of waiting for pre-orders to arrive, please place a separate order.

We do not offer pickup as we do not have a safe and secure method for picking up orders at this time. We offer shipping and local delivery at a reasonable cost.

Free shipping over C$250 before tax applies to Canadian addresses only. Orders will be shipped using Canada Post, Purolator, or UPS at our discretion.

Local delivery:

Minimum $15 order, and starts at $5. Delivery rate goes up the further you are away, up to 40km. This service is also weather-dependent!

For our customers in the United States:

As you may be aware, the United States has suspended its duty-free "de minimis" threshold of US$800 for all countries, including Canada. Because of this, we are temporarily suspending shipping to the United States.

Flat Rate Boxes are available via Canada Post:

• All flat-rate boxes include tracking and an on-time delivery guarantee across Canada, but they only vary by destination.
• A small box can hold roughly 8 meters of regular cotton fabric or 4 meters of flannel. If you order more than those amounts, there are Medium and Large flat-rate boxes available.
• We may also ship in a soft package if the price is similar to that of a flat-rate box, as sometimes our post office runs out of boxes.

Why no Lettermail option for shipping?

• We charge what it costs us to ship packages using the weight and dimensions outlined by Canada Post, using our best small business discounts. The products we sell rarely fit into the letter mail category. Lettermail provides no insurance or tracking to allow us to safeguard your order, and we would have to assume you received it in good condition. You would then have no opportunity to tell us it never arrived.

Processing time: We sell only items that we have in stock (mostly) and update our stock numbers frequently. We do our best to pack orders within 24 hours of placing them.

Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped to you. This depends on how busy the postal folks are at any time. We provide tracking numbers so we can both see how long it is taking for you to receive your items.

Actual colours of our fabric may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. We source images from the manufacturer and when those aren't available, try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour may vary slightly from your monitor. We cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.

We will never knowingly stock any product made through generative AI.
